Registration Fields

Admins can add extra Registration Fields (other than Email Address and Password) such as Name.

To add a Registration Field:

  • Navigate to the Dashboard
  • Select Users and Analytics 
  • Choose the Users tab
  • Click the Registration Fields button

From here you can customize the Field. Select the type of field you want from the drop down box and click Add Field. There is also a Required? check box that will make the field mandatory to fill in on Registration. The available Fields are: 

  • Text - This allows users to fill in a custom response.
    Type the Field Name (such as Name), users will then type the appropriate response.
  • Dropdown List - This allows users to select one of multiple options. Type the Field Name, then click Add Field (In the Bottom Left), enter the options of your list into each Option text box.
  • Dropdown List (Comma separated input) - This allows users to select one of multiple options. Same as the Dropdown List above, but you need to type the Options in one text box and separate them by commas (e.g. One,Two,Three).
  • Radio Button - This allows users to select one of multiple options. Type the Field Name, then click Add Field (In the Bottom Left), enter the options of your list into each Option text box.
  • Checkbox - This allows users to select multiple options. 
    Type the Field Name, then click Add Field (In the Bottom Left), enter the options of your list into each Option text box.
  • Country List - This allows user to select a Country.
    Type the Field Name, then click Add Field (In the Bottom Left), enter the options of your list into each Option text box.
  • Registration Document - This Requires users to a tick a checkbox agreeing to a link.
    -Type the Link Text (users will click this) e.g Link
    -Type the Before Link Text e.g. Click This 
    -Type the After Link Text e.g. Please
    -The user will see this as: Click This Link Please
    The Document Source has 3 options
    -External Link will take users to a webpage that needs to be linked in the External Document Link text box 
    -Upload File will make users download a file, upload the file by pressing Choose File 
    -HTML Editor allows the Admin to create a custom text form in an editor

You can delete a Registration Field by simply clicking the Remove Field button to the right of the Field.

The Admin can also include the Privacy Policy of the website as a required field, to do this:

  • Navigate to the Dashboard
  • Select Settings
  • Scroll down to the Registration section
